A NEW TODDLER ROOM!
Very soon (Summer 2012!) we are going to open a new room specifically created for the special needs of Toddler's, children aged 18 months to 2 ½ years.
With this room and a new license we will be able to accept 5 full time (Monday to Friday) Toddler’s. Children aged 18 months to 2 ½ years.
With this change we will have 16 preschoolers (2 ½ - 5 years old ) per day and 5 Toddlers per day in their own Toddler Room.

Our VisionOur Vision is this: We believe that each child and parent is unique. Our inclusive program supports family interests and values in raising happy, healthy, and confident children. Our staff are committed to nurturing and guiding children to their highest potential by enabling them to explore freely in a safe, supportive, engaging and caring learning environment. Due to our unique layout, it is hard to enroll wheelchair clients. But here at Lamplighter, we strive to meet the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child enrolled, no matter what gender, race, culture, developmental or behavioral needs they may have. Casual RECE Supply Positions availableWe are always looking for good people to join us and we have openings for both casual and full time Staff Positions (maternity leave).
Lamplighter Preschool is looking to add RECE's to our list of supply staff. These part time positions would be to cover short term, medical and maternity vacancies. The successful candidates would join a small but dedicated staff of skilled ECE's at a small cooperatively owned preschool.
